At Meelu we are happy to offer a 15 Year Warranty on our mattress!

This warranty is void if the Mattress leaves South Africa, if your “Mattress sock” is damaged (The inner sock inside the zip cover that protects the foam) and if the Mattress is not used for its intended purpose.

Please read on for details on the warranty.

The warranty is limited to products used in the intended fashion and within the guidelines specified in the FAQs and T&Cs. You need to retain proof of purchase in order to claim on the warranty.

Overview

  1. Meelu Sleep will repair, replace or refund (at Meelu’s discretion) the defective Mattress or cover.
    • In the event of repair, Meelu Sleep shall be entitled to use a different colour and/or design covering material.
    • Should Meelu Sleep replace the defective article, the provisions of sub-paragraph 1, first bullet shall apply. Replacement of one piece will not automatically constitute the replacement of the other piece.
    • Should Meelu Sleep replace the defective article, the provisions of sub-paragraph 1, first bullet shall apply. Replacement of one piece will not automatically constitute the replacement of the other piece.
    • Should Meelu Sleep decide to refund, the amount to be paid shall be restricted to the nett price of the article charged by Meelu Sleep to the retailer. Only the defective article will be refunded.
  2. After two years there will be a service charge of one tenth of the current recommended retail price at the date of complaint, times the number of years in use (plus transport costs), if any. The complete article must be used for the purpose for which it was constructed for the entire period of this service warranty and in the event of any claim the total liability of the manufacturer shall be limited as provided for in 1 (third bullet) above.
  3. Meelu Sleep reserves the right to refuse services upon inspection, should the product found to be dirty, stained or in an unsanitary condition or when the product failure is due to causes other than defective workmanship and materials or when the identification labels have been removed.
  4. The original purchase invoice must be provided prior to any warranty claim.
  5. The warranty applies to the original purchaser only.

This Limited Mattress Warranty Applies to the Following Defects

  • Deterioration causing the Mattress to have a visible indentation greater than two centimeters that is not associated with an indentation or sag which results from use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or adjustable bed base. Normal wear requires that a Mattress be continuously supported by a proper bed frame, base or adjustable bed base that is sufficient to support the collective weight of the Mattress.
  • Any physical flaw in the Mattress that causes the foam material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
  • Any manufacturing defect in the zipper assembly of the Mattress cover.

This Limited Mattress Warranty Does Not Cover the Following:

  • A normal increase in softness of the foam pressure-relieving material which does not affect the pressure relieving qualities of the Mattress.
  • Comfort preference
  • Physical abuse or damage to the structure and/or cover material, including but not limited to burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage or stains provided that the defect is caused by abuse or damage.
  • Replacement of any non-defective pieces in the Meelu Sleep system (for example, if you purchase a mattress with multiple components and only one component is defective, then we will only replace the defective component).
  • Any Mattress (whether manufactured by Meelu Sleep or not) sold by resellers who are not authorized retailers.
  • Mattresses sold “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “comfort return”, “returned”, “previously owned”, or any other similar wording indicating that the Mattress is not “new” or of “first quality”, or has previously been purchased or used by another consumer.

To claim on your warranty please email support@meelusleep.com with proof of purchase and details of the defect in your mattress. You may be asked to provide pictures of the defect.


Pillow

At Meelu we are happy to offer a 1 Year Warranty on our pillow!

This warranty is void if the pillow leaves South Africa, if your “pillow sock” is damaged (The inner sock inside the zip cover that protects the foam) and if the pillow is not used for its intended purpose.
